Three Things, a sometimes series presented by THE THING Quarterly, welcomes American musician, record producer, and recording engineer John Vanderslice.
The series is an intimate presentation that focuses on source material and other things informing the work of today's most interesting and influential musicians, artists, writers, filmmakers, and designers. John Vanderslice runs Tiny Telephone - an all-analog recording studio in SF and Oakland. He will be playing CDs and discussing the beauty of the creative constraint found in the limited (and therefore limitless) possibilities found in analog systems.
THE THING Quarterly is a Member of the Intersection Incubator, a program of Intersection for the Arts providing fiscal sponsorship, incubation and consulting services to artists. Visit www.theintersection.org
