Issue 14 was by actor, writer, filmmaker and artist James Franco. It consisted of a table mirror with a wallet-sized photo of the late actor Brad Renfro (a contemporary of James’s) set into the mirror’s frame. Each mirror also featured the words “Brad Forever” handwritten in lipstick by James himself. The issue included a black and white fold-out poster of James receiving a carving of the word “BRAD” in his arm by legendary tattooer Mark Mahoney. It was made in tandem with a limited edition switchblade, which we simultaneously released as a special project.
